Our harpist typically provides a list of their repertoire, and the couple can choose specific songs for key moments in the ceremony. If there's a particular song you desire that they haven't included yet, they are willing to craft a bespoke arrangement specifically for your occasion. While there may be a slight additional cost for this personalised touch, we are confident that it is truly worthwhile to have a unique and exceptional musical experience at your celebration.
Absolutely, harpists come prepared with their own harp, and most will also have a music stand and stool. However, it's recommended to confirm these details with the individual harpist. On occasion, they might request a chair from you, so it's best to discuss these arrangements beforehand. Additionally, make sure the performance area is well-lit to support their playing.
To ensure optimal participation, it is crucial that the allocated area for the event covers a minimum space of 1.8 meters by 1.8 meters. While the addition of a changing room would be well-received, it's important to mention that its presence is not considered essential for the successful conduct of the activity.
Absolutely! Most of our talented harpists love playing their beautiful music outdoors. But, it's super important to make sure our delicate harps stay safe from any unexpected weather surprises. We want to keep those instruments in tip-top shape so our amazing musicians can keep spreading their magical tunes without a hitch
The time our harpist takes to set up usually falls within the range of 30 to 40 minutes. The expected cost for booking wedding harpists usually spans from ₤285 to £480 or more. It's crucial to bear in mind that this is just an estimate and is provided for guidance. This estimate is based on a mid-week engagement in the vicinity of the artist's home and does not cover expenses for travel, accommodation (if required), additional hours, or any special requests that might result in extra charges. Upon your inquiry, we'll furnish you with a detailed quotation outlining all relevant expenses for your specific occasion.
After selecting your preferred wedding harpists and confirming their availability, we will proceed to arrange a confirmation contract to secure your desired date. This contract typically requires a 25% deposit when signed, ensuring your reservation. The remaining balance is usually due two weeks before the performance date. However, in certain cases, you may have the flexibility to settle the remaining fee directly with the artist on the day of their performance.
We strongly advise securing the services of your wedding harpist well in advance, ideally at least 6 months before your wedding day. To guarantee the availability of your desired harpist, we recommend making a reservation as soon as you've finalized your venue and selected your preferred band, dear friend. This proactive approach ensures a smooth and stress-free process as you plan your wedding celebration.
Cancellation may be an option in certain situations, but it necessitates the consensus of both parties involved. Our Booking Terms contain a clear explanation of our cancellation policy, and you're welcome to peruse the details here.
Our skilled harpists are committed professionals. In the rare event of an artist cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, be assured that we will promptly inform you and offer a complete refund. Our dedicated team is also prepared to help in arranging a replacement artist, guaranteeing that your event remains memorable.

Once you have selected the artist you areinterested in booking for your event, let us know by messaging us, or by using the enquiry form, or live-chat facility, or call us on the above number. We will check the artist' availability for you, and if they are free for your event date, we’ll guide you through the simple and easy booking process.

Once you have chosen you artist's, we have confirmed their availability for you, and you are ready to go ahead and book them, we will raise a confirmation contract to secure the date. We usually collect a 25% deposit at the time of signing of the contract which secures the booking for you. 

We usually collect the balance of the fee two weeks prior to the performance date, in some circumstances you may be able to pay the balance direct to the artist on the day of their performance.

The confirmation contract is a legally binding document that is prepared by us and signed by both the artist and the hirer. It provides confirmation of all of the details that have been verbally agreed, and the Terms & Conditions of booking. Cancellation is possible in certain circumstances but any cancellation has to be agreed by both parties.  Our Terms of Booking clearly explain our cancellation policy, you can read the details, Standard Contract Terms - Hirer and Artist.

All of our musicians, bands, and entertainers, are professionals and they all take their work responsibilities very seriously. It is extremely rare that an artist needs to cancel an event, and usually only for extraordinary reasons; illness or bereavement, etc. Should the artist need to cancel you will be immediately advised and consulted and offered a full refund of any monies you had paid.  We will then offer you the full support of our office to find a suitable alternative artist, should you want us to.

On the rare occasion that the artist breaks down on their way to your event, you would be notified immediately. The artist will use their best endeavor to continue their journey and we will assess the situation with you and would provide the support of our 24-hour back-up service to find alternative entertainment should that be considered necessary. UK Live Entertainment is a member of the Entertainment Agents' Association, and has access to a nationwide network of professional entertainers through the association, in the rare circumstance of an artist being unable to proceed to their engagement we could call upon the assistance of other professional colleague-agents around the country to stand-by alternative entertainers. Additionally, we have a substantial database of our own professional artists to draw from.  

It is usual that the hirer would provide a light meal and soft drinks for the artist. The extent of the catering will depend on a number of circumstances and this will be discussed and agreed with you at the time of booking.
